One Day at a Time

Shame on me! !!!!!
Once again I have neglected this blog of mine. I don't mean to really, it's just happens before I truly realize it. But I have been up to some good things. For so long I had lost my desire to enjoy my home.  Mostly due to some major depression, anxiety, and emotional breakdown.
I finely came to my senses and realized I needed some psychological help, and sought after it.
I am in counseling, and on medications now, and I am finely seeing the light once again.

With all that said,  I have gained an incentive to decorate and enjoy my home once again.
I have been doing some small projects.
I "take tea" every afternoon at 3:30, I am reading and planning other things as well.

I won't make promises to be posting here daily, but will say I would love to share with you all what I have been up to. There are so many things going through my mind. I will take one day at a time, enjoy, look for the positive things, seek peace and quiet contentment in abundance..........

It is truly what I have always desired.
Life in Quite Abundance!

Blessings of peace to you ♡ Thank you for visiting

  1. It is nice to "visit" with you again. I pray you get the peace of mind like a little child! Emotions are a hard thing, aren't they! Maybe the spring will bring you more hope. Andrea

  2. I have missed you Shelley. I'm glad the medications have helped. Sometimes our bodies need a little boost to get it to work right.
I'm especially happy you are "taking tea" daily. I do the same! Have a blessed rext of your week.

  3. I hope things continue to improve for you Shelley. Lovely to see a post from you and how lovely you are making the time to 'take tea' that in itself is good for you.

  4. Shelley, I have certainly missed you! I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, and OCD, so I know exactly what you have been dealing with. I take meds every morning and every night! I have to say, they have made all the difference!

Can't wait to see your decorating!

    Grace & Peace

  5. It was good to see your post today. I'm glad you are starting to feel better and I'm looking forward to seeing more posts from you. I haven't posted on my blog in a long time. Computer problems, photography problems, and health challenges slowed me down on it.

I'll be getting knee replacement surgery on one knee this spring and have been busy getting all necessary tests and scans done to be sure I will be ok having it done. I'm very nervous about having it done, but it is getting so bad that I don't know what else to do.

I'll be watching for your next post.

    Take care.

  6. It's very nice to read your uplifting post. We would all do better if we could sit together and talk. Lots of confusing things to deal with in this life. But we are blessed with our friendships. Sweet hugs, Diane
