Simple Sunday

It was so good to be back in service today after missing two Sundays due to my surgery.  I feel really good, just still weak. I even ventured out yesterday afternoon with my daughter Regina to do a bit of shopping.  Needed a few things for here at the house and such.  I have two doctors appointments this week.  The home health nurse continues to come once a week, and now they are adding a therapist to come twice a week to help me with some exercising.  So I guess I have my work cut out for me, so to speak :) Which is exactly what I need.....to move My body!

I've been dreaming about running , several times in the last few months. I can't remember when the last time I ran was, over 15 years I'm sure. And then it was more less a jog. In my dreams,  I'm really running, with the wind blowing my hair behind me.  It was a wonderful free feeling.
I'm so glad you ladies are on this journey with me. Its means so much to me, truly it does. I believe God brought each one of you into my life. I am so thankful to him for that.  You are all a great blessing, please know that because I say it from my heart.
I imagine us all in a circle, hand in hand. I thank God for friendship.  Jesus himself knew the warmth of close friends and companions.  Friendship is a marvelous gift. I certainly cherish ours.....yours and mine. Blessings♡

  1. Oh sweet Shelley, I am definitely on this journey with you. I had my surgery three days ago. While I feel pretty good, the pain from the incisions is horrible. I love that you are "running" in your dreams! I have been playing on the floor with my grand daughter, in my dreams! I'm here to hold your hand as we go down this path!

    Grace & Peace.
