The Good Shepherd

That is my greatest desire, to draw ever closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He must be first, before anything or anyone in my life. Is that always true for me? Not always.  Many times I allow other things to rush ahead. ...I find myself in a panic before I stop and realize what I have done. I rob my own self of the peace and comfort of putting God first. Of not getting ahead of him, trying to fix things that are so out of my control.  Then I hear his voice, my Great Shepherd calling me back to follow him. His ways are always right. He knows what is ahead, he is for me. He will guide me on a path of righteousness. 

A peaceful path which leads to life everlasting. 

He is the Lord of my life,and I must let him be!

The Lord is my Shepherd. ...I shall not want.
