This and That

Facebook
Hello everyone.  I apologize to all my faithful readers for taking so long to post again.  I said I was going to be more consistent this year about writing here and I fully intend to,but I may not as much as I would truly like to.  Life is just so much more unpredictable than it once was for me. I've been a little ill as of late.  Even now I am suffering from a terrible itchy rash on my neck and up the sides of my face. I have no idea what it is and plan on seeing a doctor if it doesn't start to heal soon. Enough of that though. ...on to more pleasant things.  We have been working on a garden spot. Nothing planted yet,but lots of things in mind to.  It has felt wonderful to be able to do things again that a year ago was impossible.  Losing 108 pounds makes a huge difference.  I still have a long way to go and hope to continue to lose more. I still can't move and work as much as I'd like to but I'm so far from where I started.

Mom and I have gone to the thrift store. A few times since I last wrote.  I've been very choosey about what I purchase and bring home. My little room here is getting FULL.  I've even begun to weed in there. We had a three day yard sale here, mostly my mama's accumulation, but I gathered some of my things from here and at home as well.  Eventually I plan on having a "Living Estate Sale" over at my place.  I'll keep little of my things.  We have had some very bad storms the last couple of days.  And more are to come over the next few days.

Guess who went thrift shopping with us. ...she was so behaved too. My sweet little Tasha.

I  pray the rest of your week is wonderful.  Blessings to all, Shelley

  1. A new trim you and shorter hair. Very nice. Be careful you don't make your garden too big. Next thing you know you will be canning vegetables.

  5. It's good to see you up and out and working on a garden. How fun to take your little dog thrift shopping with you. She looks like she is loving being a bargain hound. It's great that you've lost so much weight. Spring isn't as far along here near St.Louis as it is at your place. I'm getting antsy to have some warm spring weather.

  6. 108 pounds! That's incredible. I'm so happy for your new active lifestyle. Any store that allows Tasha as a customer is a fine establishment by my standards.
