Spilling Over........

Abundance, "overflowing fullness of the heart " , that is the meaning of this word to me! That is where my life has brought me. Even among the sorrow, there is still an overflowing abundance from my heart. I want that to spill over here in this place . This meeting of words , recorded , formed together to try and bring some resolution of what was, what is, and what is to come......of this heart so full, that it can't help spill over.

A long afternoon visit from loving parents, a gift of love in the form of a small quilted cloth angel.  My angel, from my mama, because she loves me.  A tight, strong hug from my daddy, money slipped into my hand quietly with a smile , a smile which speaks, I love you, you are my child, my treasure, my blessing. I know this feeling for I too am a parent.  My heart spills over with love for my own, now grown children. Those little ones whom still live in my heart, my mind, my soul. My heart spills over with memories, tiny fingers, and toes........Oh, what an abundance of love. I never knew love could be so strong, its really amazing, and yet, that love doesn't even come close to trying to measure up to the great vastness of love God has for me, for you. That he would give his one and only.......and that his one and only was willing, willing to say....not my will Father, but yours be done......then to fulfill his Father's will.
